DEVOTIONAL
Inspiration does not originate in your imagination alone. Job 32:8 reveals that the breath of the Almighty gives human beings understanding. That means the ideas you receive, the moments of clarity you feel, the stories that stir inside you, and the visions that suddenly appear in your mind are often born from God’s Spirit working in you.
God is a communicating God. He places ideas in your heart that align with His purpose. He gives creativity that carries His wisdom. He whispers thoughts that seem too meaningful or too timely to be coincidence. He stirs your imagination to remind you that your creativity is not self-made. It is God-breathed.
Staying connected to God is essential for staying inspired. When intimacy fades, inspiration often fades with it. When your heart drifts, your creativity becomes harder to access. But when you stay near Him, inspiration flows more freely. You become sensitive to His whispers, receptive to His guidance, and open to His direction.
Do not chase inspiration. Chase God. Inspiration will follow.
