DEVOTIONAL
Your creativity carries light. Matthew 5:16 urges you to let your light shine so others may see the goodness of God. Creativity is not just expression. It is illumination. God uses your work to brighten dark places, soften hardened hearts, comfort weary people, and draw attention to His character in unique ways.
When you create boldly, your work reflects God even when you do not mention His name. Your creativity reveals hope in hopeless places. It reveals beauty where people have stopped looking. It reveals truth through imagery, story, rhythm, or design. Creativity becomes a lantern God carries into unfamiliar spaces.
But light cannot shine if hidden. When fear, insecurity, comparison, or doubt cause you to shrink back, the light God placed in you becomes dim. You are not responsible for how people respond to your creativity, but you are responsible for whether or not you show up.
Let your creativity illuminate the world around you. Let God expand it, shape it, and direct it. Your art carries more spiritual weight than you see. Someone might find encouragement, conviction, or clarity through what you release today.
