DEVOTIONAL

Your creativity is not an accident. The way your eye catches light, the way you process emotion, the way metaphors arrive in quiet moments, and the way stories form inside you are all fingerprints of God. Ephesians 2:10 calls you God’s masterpiece, created anew in Christ Jesus with purpose embedded into your design. That means your creativity is not random talent. It is a calling. God placed something in you that carries intentional weight and eternal possibility.

Yet life can make creatives forget this. Discouragement makes your gift feel small. Comparison makes it feel unoriginal. Fear makes it feel fragile. And insecurity makes it feel coincidental. But God never questioned what He put in you. He does not see your creativity as something accidental or optional. He sees it as part of the unique expression of His nature through your life. You were crafted by a Creator who makes nothing without purpose.

To honor your gift is to honor the One who gave it. Trusting God with your creativity means trusting that He knew exactly what He placed inside of you and why. Today, allow God to remind you that your creative wiring carries intention, value, and direction. It does not need approval to be real. It does not need perfection to be powerful. It simply needs surrender and stewardship.

Your gift is God designed. Your vision is God shaped. Your creativity is God breathed. You are not an accident and neither is what flows from you.
