DEVOTIONAL
It is easy for creatives to underestimate what God has placed inside them. When you look at others who seem more skilled, more visible, or more confident, your own gift can feel small. But throughout Scripture, God consistently uses what appears insignificant to accomplish what is impossible. Zechariah 4:10 reminds you not to despise small beginnings because the Lord rejoices simply to see the work begin. Heaven celebrates your obedience long before you see the results.
Consider the boy with the loaves and fish. His offering looked tiny compared to the need, yet it became the vessel for a miracle. Consider David. Overlooked, underestimated, and ignored, yet God used his simple slingshot to topple a giant. Consider Elijah. God did not speak in the wind or the fire but in a whisper. God often hides power inside small things.
Your creativity may feel small, but God knows how to multiply what is surrendered. Your idea may seem quiet, but God knows how to give it volume. Your craft may feel unnoticed, but God sees every step of growth, every hidden moment of discipline, and every quiet yes. The size of your gift does not determine its impact. The surrender of your gift does.
Today, refuse to disqualify yourself because of how your creativity looks compared to others. God is forming something in you. He has not overlooked you. He rejoices in what you are building, even if the world is not watching yet.
