DEVOTIONAL
Creatives often believe they must be confident, skilled, and polished at all times. But God delights in using the areas where you feel weak. Second Corinthians 12:9 reminds you that God’s power is made perfect in weakness. This means that your insecurity, your inexperience, your vulnerability, and your lack are not obstacles. They are opportunities for God to show His strength.
Weakness keeps you dependent on God. It protects you from pride. It reminds you that everything you create is a partnership, not a performance. When you offer God the areas where you feel least qualified, He fills the gaps with His grace. Your weakness becomes the stage where His power shows up.
Many creatives hide their weaknesses, thinking they make them unworthy or incapable. But the opposite is true. Your weaknesses make room for God’s presence. They push you to rely on His wisdom, not your own. They remind you that your calling is not built on your strength but on His faithfulness.
God is not asking you to be flawless. He is asking you to be available. Offer Him your limitations. Offer Him your doubts. Offer Him your trembling yes. He will use every part of you, including the parts that feel insufficient. The world may admire strength, but heaven works through surrender.
