DEVOTIONAL
Most creatives want clarity, but clarity rarely comes instantly. God often speaks through process. Through repetition. Through drafts. Through revision. Through practice. Through slow shaping. Philippians 1:6 reminds you that the God who began a good work within you will continue to perfect it. That includes your creative development.
God is not only present in the final version of your work. He is present in every messy, uncertain, repeated step along the way. The process forms your humility, strengthens your patience, and deepens your dependence on God. The process teaches you to listen. It reveals blind spots. It uncovers motives. It builds endurance.
What feels repetitive to you may be refining you. What feels slow may be strengthening you. What feels unclear may be God guiding you deeper. Creativity is not just about inspiration. It is about transformation. And transformation takes time.
Do not despise the process. God is shaping you while He shapes your art. He is developing the character needed for the creativity you carry. Trust that what feels incomplete today is part of a larger story God is writing through you.
