Mused Creative Co. is the studio of Derick Jerome, a Cleveland-based fashion and beauty photographer and creative director. His work is built on saturated color, editorial lighting, and portraits that read like a story stopped mid-sentence.
Beyond client work, Derick founded Narrative Editorial Project (NEP), a nonprofit giving emerging Ohio models, MUAs, and stylists a free monthly editorial production experience.

Mused Creative Co. is based in Cleveland, Ohio, and shoots throughout Northeast Ohio — including Akron, Canton, and Westlake — plus studio space tin Valley View. Travel outside the region is available for editorial and campaign bookings with an additional fee.

Hair and makeup aren't included in my sessions, but you're welcome to bring your own artist to set. I can also recommend trusted MUAs and hairstylists across the Cleveland fashion community if you'd like an intro.

Beauty sessions are tight, product-focused, and built around a specific look — a lip color, a skincare line, a hair campaign. Editorial sessions are full concept stories with a single or multiple looks, locations, and a narrative, built for lookbooks, magazines, or portfolio expansion.

Beauty and portrait sessions typically book 2–3 weeks out. Editorial stories with location scouting need 2–3 weeks of lead time to secure the right creative team and location.

Regularly. Alongside client work, I run Narrative Editorial Project (NEP), a free monthly editorial production experience for college emerging Ohio models, MUAs, and stylists building their first portfolios. This is not available to everyone and is on a limited shoot schedule.
